Learn about leaderless resistance. This concept can be extended to any movement for sociopolitical change, especially environmentalism - change really does begin with you.
The Sierra Club - I don't agree with them 100% but they're good.
National Rifle Assocation - I support gun rights with few limits but not without any.
off-grid.net has some insight about living as off-the-grid as you can, and self-sufficient/community living. They're a little crunchy I say but act in good faith.
